SCROLL

When you are hurting, or unwell —
who would be the first to come?

And right at this moment,
has their day been all right?

Family always says, “I’m fine.”
But are they, really?

ANBU

You are
never alone.

Parents living far away, a child living alone — you wonder if they’re okay today, but calling or visiting every day is hard.
When something happens, someone should know. Anbu delivers the word for you.

Building Anbu

Six things we held to

Using a phone became part of our day long ago. Walking, unlocking the phone, glancing at the screen — these ordinary moments are already a signal that says “I’m doing fine today.”

Anbu reads those everyday traces and passes on to your family only what is needed.

01

Twenty languages, and each country’s own clock

The app and its notifications come in 20 languages, and even when the two of you read different ones, each notification arrives in the reader’s own.

The clock follows the country too. The same six in the evening reads 6:00 PM in English and 18:00 in most other countries. And if your phone is set to a 24-hour clock, you will see 18:00 either way — the device setting wins over the language.

02

Close the app and the check-in still goes

We don’t leave it to you to open the app or press a button.

Deep sleep, a closed app, a phone that restarted, a dropped connection — and whatever else comes up: as long as the phone isn’t fully powered off, layered safeguards get the check-in out.

We put each of those situations through real devices, over and over. The signal comes once a day, and a missed one leaves that day with none.

03

Android and iPhone alike

You can install it on either one. No one has to give up on installing it because their device isn’t supported.

04

Built to stay light

The app does not need to sit running in the background. It wakes on its own for a moment at the set time, sends the check-in, and goes back to sleep — so it barely uses battery or data.

05

As simple as we could make it

No extra features, no complicated setup — just the essentials, so anyone can use it easily.

06

No name, no phone number

We do not store personal details like names or phone numbers on our servers. A single seven-character safety code is all it takes to connect. Nor do we look at location from day to day — it is sent once, only when someone asks for help.
